Psalm 2:5-7

⁵Then the Lord warns them.
He frightens them with his anger.
⁶He says, “I have appointed my own king!
He will rule in Jerusalem on my holy mountain.”

⁷Now I will tell you what the Lord has declared:
He said to me, “You are my son.
Today I have become your father.

Psalm 2:5-7

⁵He rebukes them in his anger^(A)
and terrifies them in his wrath,^(B) saying,
⁶“I have installed my king^(C)
on Zion,^(D) my holy mountain.^(E)”

⁷I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

He said to me, “You are my son;^(F)
today I have become your father.^(G)
