Micah 1:10-12
Contemporary English Version
10 Don't tell it in Gath!
Don't even cry.
Instead, roll in the dust
at Beth-Leaphrah.[a]
11 Depart naked and ashamed,
you people of Shaphir.[b]
The town of Bethezel[c] mourns
because no one from Zaanan[d]
went out to help.[e]
12 Everyone in Maroth[f]
hoped for the best,
but the Lord sent disaster
down on Jerusalem.
