Matthew 27:30-32
New Life Version
30 They spit on Him. They took a stick and hit Him on the head. 31 After they had made fun of Him, they took the coat off and put His own clothes on Him. Then they led Him away to be nailed to a cross. 32 As they were on the way, they came to a man called Simon from the country of Cyrene. They made him carry the cross for Jesus.

30 They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again.(A) 31 After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.(B)
