15 But so much the more his fame went forth, and great multitudes came together to hear and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
16 But he withdrew himself into the wilderness and prayed.
17 ¶ And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, who were come out of every town of Galilee and Judaea and Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

15 Yet the news about him spread all the more,(A) so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. 16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.(B)
Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man(C)
17 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law(D) were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick.(E)
