Isaiah 53:5-7
Lexham English Bible
5 But[a] he was pierced[b] because of our transgressions,
crushed because of our iniquities;
the chastisement for[c] our peace[d] was upon him,
and by his wounds[e] we were healed.[f]
6 All of us have wandered about like sheep;
we each have turned to his own way;
and Yahweh let fall on him
the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet[g] he did not open his mouth;
he was brought like a lamb to the slaughter,
and like a sheep is dumb before its shearers,
so[h] he did not open his mouth.
