Acts 23:3-5
English Standard Version
3 Then Paul said to him, “God is going to strike you, you (A)whitewashed (B)wall! Are you sitting to judge me according to the law, and yet (C)contrary to the law you (D)order me to be struck?” 4 Those who stood by said, “Would you revile (E)God's high priest?” 5 And Paul said, (F)“I did not know, brothers, that he was the high priest, for it is written, (G)‘You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.’”

3 Then Paul said to him, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall!(A) You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!”(B)
4 Those who were standing near Paul said, “How dare you insult God’s high priest!”
5 Paul replied, “Brothers, I did not realize that he was the high priest; for it is written: ‘Do not speak evil about the ruler of your people.’[a]”(C)
