1 Corinthians 15:25-27

²⁵^(A) Christ will rule until he puts all his enemies under his power, ²⁶and the last enemy he destroys will be death. ²⁷^(B) When the Scriptures say he will put everything under his power, they don't include God. It was God who put everything under the power of Christ.

²⁵For he must reign^(A) until he has put all his enemies under his feet.^(B) ²⁶The last enemy to be destroyed is death.^(C) ²⁷For he “has put everything under his feet.”^[a]^(D) Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.^(E)
