Isaiah 53:2-4
Legacy Standard Bible
2 For He grew up before Him like a (A)tender [a]shoot,
And like a root out of parched ground;
He has (B)no stately form or majesty
That we should look upon Him,
Nor appearance that we should desire Him.
3 He was (C)despised and forsaken of men,
A man of [b]sorrows and (D)acquainted with [c]grief;
And like one from whom men hide their face
He was (E)despised, and we did not (F)esteem Him.
4 Surely our [d]griefs He Himself [e](G)bore,
And our [f]sorrows He [g]carried;
Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,
[h]Smitten of (H)God, and afflicted.
